The Medical Academy Mission
The mission of the Medical Academy CME/CE program is to assist healthcare professionals in translating, disseminating, and applying evidence-based knowledge to improve patient safety and enhance clinical outcomes. Our primary goal is to support healthcare professionals in providing the best possible care for their patients and clients.
The education planned by Medical Academy is based on research conducted through needs assessments. This identifies the professional practice gaps of intended learners and areas for professional practice improvement, and is carried out by the Medical Academy leadership, course directors, and professionally qualified staff.
CME Joint Providership
- We offer joint accreditation for continuing medical education programs, ensuring quality content that is evidence-based, free of commercial bias, and relevant to clinicians.
- Accredited CME activities ensure physicians have a dependable and trustworthy learning and teaching platform, shielded from commercial bias or conflicts of interest. This is why we engage in partnerships with non-accredited organizations, aiming to enrich the diversity and enhance the value of their educational programs.
- We comply with the ACCME Criteria, the Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education, and other policies.
CE Sponsorship
- We facilitate joint accreditation for continuing education programs, ensuring excellence in training for psychologists.
- We partner with and help non-accredited organizations to apply the APA Standards, Principles, and Criteria to their CE programs offered to psychologists.
